Rodney Sampson

Rodney Sampson is an entrepreneur, investor, author & consecrated bishop who focuses on shaping innovative economic policy and opportunities throughout all sectors of relevant society and culture. His episcopal affiliations are with The International Bishop’s Conference and Kingdom Manifestation.

A serial entrepreneur, Sampson co-founded Multicast Media Networks [Streamingfaith.com] in 2000, Intellect in 2002, Intellect Inspire in 2006, Legacy Opportunity Fund in 2007 & EFactor in 2008. At present, Sampson is building Legacy Opportunity Fund II, a US based BDC designed to provide underserved communities with economic dignity, knowledge and access to investment opportunities traditionally reserved for accredited, wealthy and institutional investors. He also serves on the corporate boards and management of a disruptive technology start-up, a NY based merchant investment bank and home based business.

Sampson is regularly called upon to advise & speak to nations, businesses, universities and bishops who lead millions of constituents and viable communities around the world.

Sampson holds a BS degree in Psychology from Tulane University and a MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. He also studied in the M.D. Program at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine from 1995-1999. In 1998, Sampson received an honorary Doctorate of Ministry from the I.G.F Theological Seminary.

Sampson’s published works include Your Manifest Destiny, Yes We Will, Blacks and Their Trillions & @OccupyTheChurch. His next book, entitled Kingonomics [Ben Bella] will release everywhere in January 2013.

A strong believer in global reinvestment, Sampson has been a friend of Africa. He has worked closely with The Republics of Namibia, Gabon and Uganda in the areas of trade and development, business development and public affairs. For his contributions to humanity, Sampson was awarded The Phoenix Award – the City of Atlanta’s highest honor – by Mayor Shirley Franklin in 2004.

Senghor Pope

Mr. Senghor Pope is a nationally known motivational and inspirational speaker that has spent the last fifteen years teaching others how to accelerate their success by learning how to identify their purpose and developing a life plan designed to ensure that they live it. Senghor’s vast business experience derives from his twenty plus years of business ownership, starting at the age of fifteen while a sophomore in high school. In 1996 Senghor was introduce to the world of Network Marketing and never looked back. At the age of 26 he achieved the top position of Regional Vice President, breaking records along the way while representing every production club the company had to offer. After seven success filled years, Senghor tried his hand at several MLM companies duplicating his same success in record breaking style which eventually led him and his partners to become some of the most sought out leaders in the industry. Alan Urech

EVP, 200 Office @ 200 Peachtree

Mr. Alan W. Urech is a Sr. Vice President at 200 Peachtree, a special events, conference center and co-working space located at 200 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, GA.  He leads the expansion of 200 Office collaborative workspace (www.200-Office.com) by implementing dynamic programs to help grow small growth businesses into significantly larger organizations.

His background includes HBO & Company where he was part of a team that expanded the organization from an initial start-up with under $3 million dollars in revenues to over $180 million dollars in revenue within a 12 years period.  During this period, Mr. Urech was instrumental in developing very successful healthcare product lines which significantly expanded the Company’s overall growth and profitability margins.  HBOC was sold in 1998 for US$13.8 Billion to McKesson Corporation, beginning their information technology division.  His background also includes expanding a Roman Catholic lay ministry, the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  As a volunteer president, he put together a team which grew this organization from a staff of three people in an 1,800 square feet facility with 1 program to a staff of 24 people in a 20,000 square foot facility with over 8 programs.  The organization provides an audited 92% of revenues back into direct aid to its clients.

Mr. Urech is an Instructor in Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. He instructs multiple Graduate and Undergraduate level programs in entrepreneurship and family business at the Herman J. Russell, Sr.  International Center for Entrepreneurship.  He is also on numerous corporate and non-profit Boards including Blank Stage Productions, NuVision Pharmaceuticals, TAG Health, MIT Forum (Atlanta) Programs, Georgia State University Health Advisory Board, Digitainment Georgia and the Stage2 Business Accelerator.


Don Maxwell

EVP, 24 Asset Management Corporation

Donald Maxwell is a Executive Vice President of 24 Asset Management, LLC, a company focused on third-party asset management.  He has responsibilities for managing daily operations, client relationships and developing new business opportunities for the company.

Prior to joining 24 Asset Management, Donald was Senior Vice President of  Executive Asset Management and  President of a consultant company called Asset Serve Management where he led efforts to increase the minority lending practices of several mortgage companies by building start up multicultural lending divisions, introducing sales and operational disciplines throughout the organizations, developing strategic plans for partnerships with various participants. His clients included  Washtenaw Mortgage Company, Allied Mortgage Group, Maverick Residential Mortgage, First Guaranty Mortgage, Net Bank , SMI Mortgage and Prime Lending just to name a few.

Donald worked for Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) for over 12 years in a number of positions. As Director of Marketing, Single Family Mortgage Business, he was responsible for developing and leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts with the underserved lenders. His efforts included attending and sponsoring ten national and regional conferences with local and national trade groups. He also increased business opportunities for trusted advisors and lenders by delivering an estimated of $4.5 billion in loan production (27,000 loans).

Donald as Director of partnership office, he was responsible for developing long-term investment plan estimated value of 7 billion over five years to expand Fannie Mae capacity to deliver products and services supporting the housing priorities in the communities we served. He also leveraged private and public funds, identified and created low to moderate income mortgage products. Establishing and maintaining relationships with non-profit organizations, lenders, and public officials that addressed the housing needs of their underserved communities. Evaluated and recruited non-traditional partners to expand the volume and customer base.

When Donald was at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae dealing with their REO dispositions.  Initially as a Team Leader, Sales Manager and later as a National Director, he managed a staff of asset managers, Supervisors, and Managers responsible for asset sales on a national basis. Under his supervision his team achieved the following, Successfully disposed of over 21,000 REO properties with an estimate in value of over 1 Billion, reduced credit losses to $70 million exceeding goal of below $130 million and reducing aged inventory from 10% to less that 5% of listed inventories.

Donald is a former National Football League and Canadian Football League Player. He is an active member of the National Football League Alumni. He is actively involved in community service, with the NFL Alumni. He is also active with various trade groups such as NAACP, NAREB, AREAA, NAHREP, NREBA, NAR, and National Urban League. He a well known public speaker who is always asked to be a key note speaker at many conferences.

Don holds a BBA from Northwood University, with a major in Business Administration, Management. He has also completed the Northlake Colleges and Commercial College- Texas Association of Realtors.

Don spends much of his time on various committees and church-related activities, and serves as Teacher in the church marriage class at Friendship Baptist Church.


Charles Green

CEO, Small Business Finance Institute

Charles Green began working in his parent’s small business at age 8 and attended many dinner hour “board meetings.” Today he is a recognized small business authority with over 30 years of advising, financing and investing in entrepreneurs. He regularly consults with business owners and bankers, writes about financial topics and teaches finance through seminars and conferences produced by a non-profit enterprise he founded, the Small Business Finance Institute (www.SBFI.org).

His experience as a commercial banker, venture capitalist and advisor yielded clients in more than 30 countries. He founded and served as President/CEO of Sunrise Bank of Atlanta. Charles has served as corporate director for several businesses in the U.S., Mexico and Europe including a NASDAQ-listed company, and presently serves as Chair of the Governing Board of Atlanta Medical Center, a $250 million for-profit hospital owned by Tenet Healthcare Systems.

Charles authored several books and articles about business financing including bestselling The SBA Loan Book 3rd Edition (Adams Media) and the new Get Financing Now (McGraw-Hill).

He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama, completed the Stonier National Graduate School of Banking, and Executive Education at Harvard Business School.  He serves as Chair of the Fulton County Arts Council and has served on several non-profit community boards. In 2005 he was named the Financial Services Champion by the Georgia District of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
